Recovery cannot begin without stability. Survivors receive comprehensive support through The Whole Journey, including counselling, legal aid, healthcare, education, housing support, sanitation, and food assistance.
When trauma is addressed, survivors are better able to regain confidence, manage anxiety, and begin imagining a future beyond survival. Counselling and mental health support are a critical part of that journey.
Economic empowerment helps turn recovery into long-term stability. Through on-the-job training, private-sector job placements, and small-business support, survivors gain the tools to earn, plan, and rebuild.
When survivors have support, skills, and income, the future starts to look different. Progress becomes visible not only in wellbeing, but in the ability to live more independently and support a family with dignity.
When survivors can earn, they are better able to support themselves, care for their families, and move toward long-term independence. That is why livelihoods support is such a powerful part of recovery.
