Micaela Cronin, CEO of Hagar International, is visiting NZ in March!
Micaela is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and is visiting NZ to meet and thank supporters of Hagar’s work. She will be speaking at 3 public events in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch (details below) and we would love to see you there. Please feel free to invite your friends and family – Micaela is a powerful and compelling speaker, with incredible experience and expertise to share.
Micaela will address the issue of trafficking and how Hagar is making a huge difference in the countries we work in – not only with individuals as they recover, but with top level prevention to fight trafficking and its impacts on individuals and society.

Micaela is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and began her work with Hagar on 4th April 2016.
Micaela worked in the community sector for more than 25 years and became a recognised leader at state and national level in Australia.
She was CEO of MacKillop Family Services, a Catholic community agency that provides services to over 5,000 people across three Australian states, from October 2009 through to March 2016.
She was President of the Victorian Council of Social Services (VCOSS) from 2007, and until recently, also the Australian Council of Social Services (ACOSS). She also served on the Board for Catholic Social Services Australia (CSSA).
In 2014, in acknowledgement of her significant contribution, she was awarded the Robin Clark Memorial Award for service and leadership in the children, youth and family services sector.
Micaela holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Social Work, a Graduate Diploma in Community Development and a Master of Business Administration and has studied at Harvard, Monash, RMIT and Ashridge
